Hell, after 3 straight EmO blog posts, i guess its about time to cheer up... and what better way to lift a guys spirit than a good day of hard ass taekwando... yep... no better cure...

4th of october was a great day.... for one, i got to destress by taekwando-ing all day.. and to top thing off, i won a medal... pehehehehe.... better yet, im going for the poomsae event finals next week.. got 3rd place in this weeks semi's.. not bad huh?

th efirst event of the day was the poomsae event, which i got 3rd place in the semi's.. but i have to say, the highlight of the event was Densearn who was the last contestant of the day... halfway through the event, he kinda lost the stepsand stood dazed for a bit, and thenn... DAMMIT.... lol... xD... i have it on video and i will post it up soon... hehe..

next came the high jump kick and long lump kick event... being only meagerly good at these events, i never got through and ended up being a plank holder, as a result of which, my fingers are all swollen... next was the style breaking event, which i might add, was the best event the whole day... my combo of 3 cyclones, one backthrust and one head break( yes, i broke the plank with my head) was not enough to beat the rest and i never got any prize for that event... =(

surprisingly enough, i got the gold for the next event, which i never expected... this was only because i broke two planks in mid-air without landing and on only one attempt compared to the silver medalist , justin's two failed attempts at breaking more than 2 planks.... i feel really awkward at getting the prize as i feel that he is a more qualified participant.. but i won, so i really shouldn't complain....

finally, came the most painful, excruciating and gut-wrenching event... strength breaking... this was the crux of events where most of the players were soon down with sore feet , and in some cases, two swollen toes... hehe, u know who you are.. =P... the event was seriously stolen by two of the best breakers, Zax and Yinniy.. Zax broke 4 inches of hard pine and Yinny broke 3... i have zax's video.. and that to will be up...

alll in all, monash succeded in 'tapao-ing' the events.. hmmm... the monashian medal tally for those that i know are as below...

so there ends a cool event.. next, the play on friday, then the 2nd half of the tkd competition on saturday.. then.. EXAMS!!!!!! hehe... good luck to all my pals....
